Brendan Connelly
makes all the music and sound for the Two Headed-Calf. The scores are tighlt woven with the action and words of the play and are realized onstage. He has been privledged to work with a group of amazing, dedciated musicians that includes Sam Hillmer (Zs), Jacob Garchik (FourBags), Matthew Hough (Seductive Sprigs), Charlie Looker (Extra Life), Joanne Lin (Momenta Quartet, SEM Ensemble), Beth Meyers (Janus Trio) and Ian Antonio (Zs). The current configuration is called The Weirding Way and featured Ian Antonio, Russell Greenberg (Hi Red Center) and Tony Gedrich (Stay Fucked).

He was a member of the composers collective, Wet Ink, through which many of his compositions were premiered. Recent non-theater compositions include Mask Mean Bundle (premiered at the Phoenix concerts); "They don't care about the details but fuck with the structure and they'll crush your spine" (The Stone, NY); Quintet 1 (performed by the SEM Ensemble); and Signal 3 (Dartmouth New Music Series). He is currently collaborating on a chamber opera with playwright Mac Wellman called A Morphology of Errors. He recieved an NYIT award for his score for Major Barbara in 2006. Brendan's music has been called "spectacular" (NY Sun) and "brilliantly discordant" (Village Voice) and has been featured in the New York Times and Brooklyn Rail. Brendan is currently pursuing his MFA in Music/Sound at Bard College.
